Collection: GRAFIKA SL23

This SL23 Season, we embark on a philosophical journey within ourselves through the medium of physical travel. Designer Jude takes inspiration from his past travels to Morocco and the tip of the Sahara Desert, transforming this experience of a different world into a metaphor for self discovery. With travel restrictions slowly lifting, the desire to explore is in the air, reconnecting with the world around us. We draw historical reference from the glamour of train travel through Morocco in the 1920’s. The romanticism and exoticism of affluent colonial travel through a time and space which was turbulent and plagued by civil war. An unnerving reflection of today’s world, where our excitement for overseas exploration grows in parallel to unfolding world situations. We emphasise this sense of contrast through the splicing of shape, line and pattern in our clothing this season, creating travel uniforms which are a graphic representation of modern life.
